dance / performance art

dance and performance has always been a part of my life, whether I could particpate in it formally or not.
in the recent years, I have re-entered the dance world through tap -- my favorite style. I am currently a
company member of TAPFUSION, a dance company that combines the styles of tap and modern.

personally, I am very interested in the pedestrian dance movement led by Judson Church,
Steve Paxton’s Contact Improvisation, and contemporary ballet. I love when I watch a piece where
everytime I attempt to predict what comes next I am wrong. This is what I strive to achieve in my own
choreography/improvisation.
